yummy yummy *slurps* i have always loved shaker fries. i wish they had this forever. but it's always for a limited time only. bahs. well, i guess if they had this in the normal menu, ppl might get bored of it. i hope it stays for a long limited time. haha. have no idea what am i saying. but yeah =)

exams are coming up. i have 4 papers. it's on this thursday, next monday, tuesday, and friday. i have no clue bout any of my subjects. seriously. and for one of my subjects, i NEVER EVER pay attention in class. i always end up sleeping. u know why? cuz the lecturer is so damn boring!

she has a very soft voice (can hear her straining her voice), talks in circles, explains too much, seldom answer our questions, super particular with answers (like she has her own set of answers, and only hers is right), and she doesn't give us any tips for exams. sheesh. thank God i don't have her for my next semester!

so please pray for me. i'm too lazy to study. don't know where to start (actually i do. but yes, lazy). i really wanna do well so that i can testify to my friends that it's all cuz of God. God, please help me! *pulls hair*

beginning

after bidding my phone goodbye, (see closure) now i'm saying hello to a new beginning hopefully one that won't end so fast well, i have nothing much to say except that i absolutely love the phone other than the fact that i made 4 scratches the first time i laid hands on it. 3 when i took out the plastic thingy and 1 when i tried opening the back cover (seriously. whatever happened to easy-to-open covers. sheesh!) shucks wei. heart break.

i was feeling very depressed bout it last night. contemplating on spraying on a new color. it hurt more cuz my mum bought it for me. if it was my own money i wouldn't mind. i won't be as scared as i am now hope she doesn't know bout my blog. haha but he said some words of comfort and we concluded that it's just material things.

maybe God made me so careless so that i won't LOVE the phone more than Him. cuz if there weren't any scratches on it, i would give it my "undivided" attention. not that i won't give it "undivided" attention. can't afford to lose another phone

today, i took bout 30 minutes or more to get home. my goodness. the jam started all the way from subang to kdu. thank God i didn't take the ldp from subang. i took federal then cut back into ldp. so i started "jamming" from kelana jaya to kdu. and u know what's the reason for the slow slow crawl....?

for goodness sake. please. i seriously hate those "pat kua" people who has nothing but 8 on their foreheads. i mean seriously....!!! i was furious! ughhh!!! damn idiot! i could have reached home much earlier.....!!!!!!!!

i had a short little closure with my phone just now. actually both of my phones. one just now and a quick one for the other. u see... i HATE closures. hate saying goodbye to something or someone who i had so MUCH memories with.


well, i'm trading my N70 for another. and i'm saying a short and QUICK goodbye to my samsung soul (which i only had for 1 month. thank you very much). actually i'm not ready to say goodbye to my samsung. when i looked and touched the box or even as i was putting away the cables, i was doing it so quickly. so that i can get it over and done with. in fact, i'm still keeping the box and stuff. he kept asking me to throw it away. but but but... i can't. sigh.





so, goodbye N70. u have been there for me even when i threw u away to mummy when i had my new samsung soul. yet, u welcomed me with open arms when i needed u once again. and now, i'm trading u in for a newer phone. i'm sorry. but i have to. ur getting too old. now u can take ur very much needed rest. thank you for letting me count on u when i needed to capture memories. even though sometimes ur pictures may come out a little blur but still... it's better than nothing. but u were there when he and she took their very first photo together.

of children and backache

about a week ago, i had a group presentation and what we needed to do was to come up with our very own kindergarten. we were limited to 7 slides, which was harder than expected actually. cuz when we were planning, we wanted to put in SO much stuff and how the heck are we gonna cramp everything into 7 slides...? so we settled for 9 slides. wanna know what our kindergarten is called.....???

we cooked yesterday. attempted to cook padprik flavored fried rice and soup. well, the soup was a last minute thing. the soup tasted awesome but the rice needs loads of improvements. haha

we had sausage, long beans, chicken, and chilli
we added egg in but don't know where it disappeared to

hmmmm... am quite lazy to update our blog. but oh wells... it's been a while and i told myself that i should update at least once a day. so i finally decided to post up photos from jeremy's farewell. this post is quite long overdued. he and nick left like 1 week plus di and i'm only posting bout it now. haha. oops.

good times & good food

for my father's bday, we went to this place called Boathouse in taman tun. it's a pub and restaurant. we wanted to go to tony roma's (which is quite pricy and not much food to choose from) but decided on pasta fredo cuz my mum overheard wing lian recommending that place to me the last time i was searching for a fine dining kinda restaurant. but it wasn't open. soooo...

anyway, it was this place or cramming ourselves in The Curve with a million and one people going there for merdeka countdown. so Boathouse it is...! (which turned out cheaper than tony roma's)


at last we ordered the right food (which means fine dining kinda food) cuz every time we go to this kinda place i would end up ordering the wrong kind of food. everyone else would get the fine dining kind and i get the i-could-have-gotten-it-at-a-cheaper-priced-restaurant kinda dish.


there was a great variety of dishes to choose from. however, the menu wasn't VERY appealing. it was too wordy and they didn't bothered to make the words bigger. after a while, i got too lazy to read it and he couldnt' do much either.


the lighting was far too romantic cuz there were families with young kids to spoil the mood. anyhow, it was a good time spent with good company as well as good food. which reminds me, i forgot the names of the dishes we ordered.

as for the starters, we had mushroom soup. it contains 3 different kind of fresh mushrooms. i wonder if they had a garden for them to go to pluck em. and as u can see, there are no pictures of that so-called soup we ordered. cuz the food took too long to arrive. so, when it FINALLY arrived, we gobbled everything down. fast. it was a little bit too tasteless for us. we had to add loads of pepper.

it came in a small cup (that normal restaurants would use to serve ice cream) on a small plate with a small bread on the side

it didn't mix well with some weird leaves that they put at the bottom

there's baked sliced potato covered with egg and gravy as well which is not in the photo


when this dish came (after another million years), the waitress asked if we wanted the chef to help us cut it. and guess what? it took another million years. my mum asked for the dish back and it took another million years. so i had to quickly take photo of the food before we gobbled it down again.


luckily i remembered to take photos cuz i know this will be once in a lifetime
