corn flour & water

i keep forgetting to talk bout this. but at least i'm talking bout it withing the same week. okay. i don't know what nonsense am i talking bout but yeah... please bare with me. i'm super tired and drained out! cuz we were watching tropic thunder. not in the cinema (thank God! super stupid movie. didn't really enjoyed it. but watched it cuz he wanted to watch together)

so on tuesday, for my play & learning class, my lecturer wanted us to play with corn flour & water. remember the shaving cream? *click*

this was the same as the shaving cream.
it was really fun.
u should give it a try some time.
if ur very free that is =)

we were wondering why would it harden and then melt in our hands
when u keep making it into a ball, it'll remain harden
but when u stop, it'll turn watery and slide off ur fingers
it's like as if the flour wouldn't completely mix with the water
and it's really hard to get it out of the container

but when u press ur hand inside the container,
ur finger will sink like as if ur playing with sand on the beach

that got us thinking for quite some time.
so as always,
we will be the last group to finish playing & wash up.
haha.

if this is fun for us.
imagine how much more it'll be for children.
