Different

Life is definitely a lot different now compared to 3 - 4 years back. This means comparing a working life to a study life. Looking back during my studies, life is somewhat a lot more free where you have more time for your own plans compared with the commitments for your study hours. Now, it is july 2010 and this marks my one year of working already. Free is definitely not something common anymore because now you work around your work schedule, at least for me working in shifts, it is never the same free time like most of you have, for example weekends are definite freetime for you guys but not for me :( working two weekends in a month is something not very nice to look forward to.

Besides the difference in time, work makes a difference in your income as well. It gives you more money than your parents could give you as allowance during your studies. With more money, you can do more things. So, this is a very good thing, you can save up the money to plan to get married, you can buy more clothes, get a pair of Oakley spectacles, enjoy more expensive food or bless others a meal or two, give back more to God, take a trip down to Singapore for holiday and shopping or even get a brand new car, say maybe a Myvi 1.3 Sxi..

Yea, i recently bought a new car, a Perodua Myvi 1.3 Sxi to replace my old car which was given to me by my mother. This new car definitely is a lot more different than the old car. The obvious would be that this new car is a manual transmission vehicle :) Ordered the Myvi in April but only got my hands on it last week Tuesday (June), exactly two months. Oh well, at least everything went smoothly including the transaction for the trade in for the old car.

The trading in of the 13 year old Proton Wira was really a blessing from God. Initially, it was offered by car dealer A for an amount of RM7,300 back in April when he first inspected it. Then when is near to make the full payment for the Myvi (few days before the delivery), car dealer A wanted to inspect it again and this time, he offered me RM7,000 after he thoroughly check through it. I somehow knew this kind of thing would happen, furthermore i have driven it for another 2 months when he first check it. So i really prayed to God, asking Jesus to favour me so that car dealer A will not deduct any further the price. But, what happened is that car dealer A really deducted the trade in price to RM7,000 instead of RM7,300 when he first offered. So, this is the part where God answered my prayer which was far more than what i expected. My saleswoman recommended me car dealer B. Unlike car dealer A, car dealer B was so much different. He was friendlier, easier to negotiate, and all in all, very much better. A deal was agreed with car dealer B with an amount trade in for RM7,500. Immediately, he wrote a cheque to Perodua with that amount and then i settled the balance for the downpayment and the transaction was done just like this. This was really amazing and God once again proved that He is real and He's always there for me and care for my every need. Now, its almost a week since i've been driving the new car and it definitely feels much different than the old car, of course in a better way.
