the voice within

as i was driving home from prayer meeting just now, i spotted a car which had no lights on. so i was wondering whether that would be alex & li ann's. i kinda drove "faster" than usual to go nearer to that car. when i was behind them... i realized... OH! it's them. getting over excited, i was thinking whether i should highlight or horn. a little voice inside told me to choose the horn. but i was thinking... nah, it's drizzling and the floor is slippery and too late and dangerous to go side-by-side and wave (even more dangerous). therefore, i decided to drive on

as i was passing by the 1st traffic light before the 2nd traffic light to go to my house, where only daring motorists would occasionally come out of no where onto the road, one of them suddenly came out. i was aware. finger ready on the horn. (see... i'm not as blur as what my mum always tells me) before putting on the signal, just what i expected, he swerved onto my lane. straight away i was glad to use my horn. but but but..... no sound was coming out. then did i remember that he was playing with my horn earlier and he forgot to switch it back on! i was and still am SO EXTREMELY furious!

but all in all, just wanna thank God that nothing happened and that i managed to hear the Holy Spirit's prompting to check on my horn
