Day 3

Day 3 - Cradle Mountain

Started the day at Esk Market. Think yesterday's market was better than today's because there's more food and produce to look at. Today's market had loads of second hand goods. Much like Camberwell market in Melb

The produce is in baskets. Too cute

Saw a cute lil pram. Would like something like this for my future daughter to play with

Selfie's are a must when your just travelling as a couple

Driving in the fog on the way to Cradle Mountain. It was around 11ish and still super foggy. Unbelievable

We love ice cream so much that we don't mind eating it even though it's freezing outside. It was so good. He had cookies&cream and I had hazelnut

We've finally arrived after driving for about 2 hours and 30 mins. Made a few stops here and there that's why it took longer than expected

We had to register before starting our walk. It's so that they can keep count of who comes for a walk and where the majority of people go for a walk. Also it's so that they can make sure everyone leaves at the end of the day and they can find anybody who are lost

My dear husband looking like the ultimate tourist today

Dove lake behind us. Freezing cold!!!

Look at how clear the water is

It was so calm and beautiful. God is such an amazing creator!

Went on the enchanted walk which was such a waste of time!!!

Saw this cute lil bushes!! Don't know what it's called but it's so so cute! Small lil round bushes

Saw this funny sign board. It was either the car going over the kangaroo or the kangaroo lifting the car up. Funny

Went to the Mud Bar Restaurant for dinner. It was so good that we didn't mind it being insanely expensive

Breakfast: poached egg, spinach, mushroom, and cheese panini. BBQ chicken pastie. The panini was extremely yummy but the pastie tasted a bit off because it was like mashed up chicken instead of chicken meat

Dinner: pagan apple cider, sourdough bread with tom yam spread and roasted garlic spread. Entree: seared squid with tamarind chilli paste, pickled carrot and ginger, coriander, and Asian greens. Mains: seared duck breast with sticky black rice, caramelised rhubarb, ruby grapefruit salad and fish fillet, prawn, scallop risotto.
The seared duck was interesting because we've never knew duck could be eaten slightly pink AND we had it with sticky black rice which we usually have as a dessert! But all in all, we had a lovely dinner that we didn't mind paying a lot for
